Get out and let your vote speak for you!
Let's Make a Difference
Rep. John Lewis
Fannie Lou Hamer
Ella Josephine Baker
Ruth Bader Ginsburg,
Supreme Court Justice
Aug 10, 1993 — Sep 18, 2020
"Ordinary people with extraordinary vision can redeem the soul of America by getting in what I call good trouble, necessary trouble. Voting and participating in the democratic process are key. The vote is the most powerful nonviolent change agent you have in a democratic society. You must use it because it is not guaranteed. You can lose it."
Rep. John Lewis , 1940-2020
"I am sick and tired of being sick and tired."
'If you don’t speak out, ain’t nobody going to speak out for you."
– Fannie Lou Hamer, 1917-1977
"The major job was getting people to understand that they had something within their power that they could use, and it could only be used if they understood what was happening and how group action could counter violence…”
– Ella Jo Baker, 1903-1986
"Fight for the things you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you."
Our elections are the most important of our lifetimes, from the presidency to the local school board. It’s imperative that we the people have our voices heard. We must use the power of our vote to bring about the lasting change we seek. We must cause "good trouble." Moveon.org
